And you may have arrived here looking for an alternative to synthetic scents and harsh detergents, or curious to learn about the differences — in which case, welcome! The Studio blog is for you.
In this section you will find posts about the ingredients used in my candles and soaps and the thought process behind every choice. Also posts about how best to care for your candles, some extra descriptions of my essential oil blends to help you choose the perfect treat or gift.

Bread & Weather grew out of, and remains rooted in, a real place.
As well as working here (in my studio), I also live here (in my little barn house) and grow some of my own food here (in the vegetable garden).
Exponential growth and world domination is not the aim of Bread & Weather. The aim is to create a self-sustaining balance between work, life and nature, here in the Wicklow countryside. This section contains posts about the intentionally slow and simple life I live here, and why it matters.
