Candles, Soaps and Scents made from Plants, not Perfume

Welcome to Bread & Weather, a countryside studio creating ingredient-led home fragrance.

Hi! I’m Ella,

Here in my small studio, I blend oils from over 30 botanical origins into scents designed for people who enjoy beautiful, well made things, and simple living.

I work with fragrance distilled from plants, not synthetic perfume. Oils drawn from flowers, herbs, woods and seeds are blended to enhance their botanical character, creating elegant home scents with depth and life.

Whether you're here for a special gift, or something for your own home, I hope you find a scent that brings a moment of delight to your day.

Please enjoy taking a look around, and read more about where I work if you are curious.

Non-Toxic Candles

Beautiful scent begins with better ingredients

Bread & Weather candles are scented exclusively with oils distilled from plants, not synthetics.

Over thirty botanical oils — from flowers, herbs, grasses, trees and spices — are blended in-house, to create elegant, home scents that have depth and character.

It’s quietly addictive home fragrance that’s full of life.

Botanical Diffusers

Our seven signature oil blends are now available as reed diffusers. Gently fragrance your space with pure essential oils, blended into a clean, non-toxic base. Designed to scent your space, without synthetic perfume or overpowering sweetness.

Well Made Soaps

Carefully formulated from simple ingredients

Made from oils that are naturally kind to skin, our soaps are gentle enough for face, hands and body, and designed to be used every day. Free from synthetic ingredients, and generously scented with essential oils, handmade soap is the original simple skincare, and long overdue a comeback.

🐝 Ours is even made with Irish rapeseed oil, from a biodiverse family farm

  • My second three wick Cardamon Spruce candle. I love it! This size is great for scenting a larger or open plan space. I used my first one over Christmas and it was my favourite scent of the season, cosy, spicy and warm. It's completely natural with no artificial additives and I think that, along with its gorgeous smell, is why I never tire of it.

  • I am super happy with the scented candles I got! Usually I don't like scented candles too much because they often smell chemical. But this candles are just lovely, give a wonderful natural scent. And they burn forever! Fully recommended!
