Ella’s Notes: I created this candle one January when I craved something that reflected the feeling of midwinter transitioning into early spring. I love the peaceful, sleeping feeling of January when the trees are bare and the birds are quiet. Nature looks to be asleep, but new beginnings are on the way. What oil blend could I make for a time when the warming spice blends of Autumn and Christmas are behind us, but we are not ready for the full floral and herbal bouquets of Summer? With this oil blend I tried to make something as gentle and hopeful as snowdrops appearing from frozen ground in the sleeping garden.

🌿 Essential Oil Notes
This blend is made from essential oils of pink grapefruit and bergamot, two citrus fruits with very different personalities.
Bergamot brings subtle depth with floral, herbal notes - famously used to flavour Earl Grey tea. Grapefruit, by contrast, is clear and clean, cutting through mental fog without overwhelming the senses.
Together, they create a scent that’s bright yet composed.
